AXE X YONO X ZOZORESORT

I like seeing collaboration like this happen, between corporate companies and artists/photographers like Yasumasa Yonehara. When the street artist or photographer is legit it always comes out great. I don't really considerate it selling out. The artist's that do these collaborations are constantly hustling in their own way so the collaboration is just another way for them to do what they love for a living. And in this case AXE did a great job by getting Yonehara. The premise of all of AXE's advertising is that if you use their product you'll get all the girls. So who better to convey that message to the Japanese then Yonehara. If you don't know who Yasumasa Yonehara let me put it this way he is like the Hugh Heffner of Japan but gully. Usually when companies jump cultural boundries the message gets lost but Axe really hit the nail on the head with this one. But then again they've always had good advertising.

“Obsessions make my life worse and my work better”

Stefan Sagmeisters new piece for “Experimentadesign Amsterdam 2008″

“Obsessions make my life worse and my work better”

Beautiful Typography consisting of 250,000 euros changed into coins. That were then glued to the floor.

Unfortunately, the whole piece was scraped off the floor by the filth *that means cop in British.
I think this fits with the new background the blog is sporting. Money Over Bitches, and I'm out.

Lotus

So just found out that Lotus is coming out with a new model called the Eagle and they are doing the freshest stuff to market it. Faceless people have been popping up at high profile events this summer in England like the Wimbledon, Henley Regatta, the Harrods sale and Elton John's White Tie and Tiara Ball.

When you type in Faceless people on Google the first website to pop up is
True Character. On the site there is a count down clock to July 21 and the Lotus logo at the bottom. The website launches two days before the British International Motor Show, which opens in London at July 23. So obviously this site is for the new Lotus Eagle. This is such a wonderful Viral/ Guerilla Campaign by Lotus. If someone out there knows the Ad agency that came up with this campaign let me know.
